  • 2 onions, quartered

  • 250ml chicken stock
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 500g broccoli florets
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Add chicken chunks, onions, garlic, ginger, and chicken stock to the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; mix well.
  3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. Mix cornstarch with water; stir into slow cooker during the last hour.
  5. Add broccoli florets and switch to high; cook for an additional 30 minutes or until heated through.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles as desired.
