  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, chop the peeled shrimp until finely minced.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced shrimp with beaten egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into approximately 20–24 small balls.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the shrimp balls for about 3–4 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels before serving.
