  • 8 oz wide egg noodles (cooked)
  • 2 cans sauerkraut (14 oz each, drained)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cans tomato soup (10.75 oz each)
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion until browned; add garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer drained sauerkraut in the baking dish and sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  4. Add cooked egg noodles followed by the beef mixture.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk tomato soup with water; pour over the casserole.
  6. Top with shredded Swiss cheese.
