  • 1 lb boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large pan over medium heat, melt half the butter and sauté the bell pepper and onion until softened (3-4 minutes). Remove from pan.
  2. In the same pan, melt remaining butter and cook rib-eye steak seasoned with salt and pepper until browned (3-4 minutes).
  3. Return cooked veggies to the pan with steak and mix well.
  4. Place half a slice of provolone cheese on each egg roll wrapper, add 2-3 tablespoons of filling, fold tightly using water to seal edges.
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown (3-5 minutes per batch). Drain on paper towels.
