- 4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 0.5 cup beef broth or water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown ground beef for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet; cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Layer the beef mixture in the baking dish, followed by thinly sliced potatoes seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese; pour broth around the edges.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake another 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
