  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Sauté chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter; add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to create a smooth sauce; simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet along with rigatoni; toss to coat everything in the sauce.
