- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (40g)

- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (350ml), chilled
- 8 oz semisweet chocolate (225g), finely chopped
- 3 tbsp milk (45ml)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (25g)
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate (115g), finely chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (120ml)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in another bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- For the mousse, melt semisweet chocolate with milk over low heat until smooth; let cool slightly. In another bowl, whip chilled heavy cream until soft peaks form; gradually add powdered sugar while continuing to whip. Gently fold the cooled chocolate mixture into whipped cream.
