  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 7-ounce container plain Greek yogurt
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing yogurt, garam masala, lemon juice, black pepper, and ginger in a large bowl. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Sear the marinated chicken in a nonstick pan over high heat until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, cream, garlic, and spices; bring to a simmer. Add seared chicken and cook for 20 minutes until sauce thickens.
