- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth

- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 1/4 cup pasta water
Instructions
- Boil the gluten-free farfalle pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, mix the seasonings together in a small bowl.
- Pound the chicken breast slightly and season both sides with the spice mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until browned. Cook through on medium-low heat for an additional 10–12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and melt butter in the same pan. Add shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; simmer for one minute.
- Stir in flour, chicken broth, and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
- Add shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Slice cooked chicken and mix it into the pasta before serving.
