  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage for about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in the same skillet until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, browned sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown and potatoes are tender.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
