  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
  • 1 teaspoon blackened seasoning (for shrimp)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into cubes)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss shrimp with blackened seasoning in a bowl until well-coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, cook seasoned steak for about 4-5 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
  5. Melt butter in the skillet, add onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent. Pour in cream and stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the sauce; toss gently to coat.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
