- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
- 1 teaspoon blackened seasoning (for shrimp)
- 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into cubes)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 small yellow onion (diced)
- 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss shrimp with blackened seasoning in a bowl until well-coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, cook seasoned steak for about 4-5 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
- Melt butter in the skillet, add onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent. Pour in cream and stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the sauce; toss gently to coat.
- Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
