  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking soy sauce with cornstarch, broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes; drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. In a nonstick skillet, heat olive oil and cook seasoned steak until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Steam broccoli in the same skillet until bright green and tender.
  5. Return steak to the skillet along with cooked ramen and pour in the sauce. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
