- ½ cup (122.5 g) whole milk
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 2 cups (476 g) heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch kosher salt
Instructions
- Prepare the apple filling by cooking diced apples with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and butter until softened.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Make the cupcake batter by creaming butter and sugar, then adding eggs and mixing in dry ingredients alternately with milk.
- Fill each liner halfway with batter, add a spoonful of apple filling, then top with more batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
